Off the fence!

Sitting on the fence at Wedderburn Station, Central Otago, NZ
It’s time to blog. I’ve decided to join the blogging world and share my world – or my view of it – with you. I’m off the proverbial fence, and launching my first blog. Here I am sitting on a fence at Wedderburn Station in New Zealand’s Central Otago region late last year.
Seems fitting as New Zealand’s South Island will be the first place outside Australia that I’ll be writing about in this blog.
What will you find here? Words and images about my travels near and far. What you won’t find is re-hashed press releases. If I don’t find something interesting, I figure you won’t either. So please subscribe and come on my travels with me.
After seven years in Melbourne, I’ve recently moved to Brisbane, so you can expect to find out a lot about Queensland too. And I spent a fair bit of last year writing a book called Great Australian Pubs, so you’ll probably read a bit about pubs too!
