Simple pleasures

IN TOMMY’S WORDS: One of the most wonderful images I have ever taken of children at play. The beautiful child on this side of the fence received a huge surprise when another child suddenly appeared.

Last weekend I went to a three-year-old’s birthday party, and was reminded of how much fun kids can have with very little.  The party was held in a park, and one of the parents had the inspired idea of bringing along a large cardboard box – which was the hit of the party!  Adults and kids alike crawled in and out, and other large sheets of cardboard were used to slide down a big hill on.

So today I’m sharing this cute photo by Australian photographer Tommy Campion of kids playing beside a hole in a fence.  It makes me smile, so I hope it will do the same for you!  Have a great weekend!

Great pic — it helps explain why we take on a new lease of life when we become grandparents.
