Sometimes a photographer just gets lucky. No amount of planning can prepare you for something like this. When Australian photographer Tommy Campion was photographing a model in the north Queensland rainforest village of Kuranda, a butterfly landed on her face – and stayed there. In colour – and in life – the butterfly would be electric blue. It is a Ulysses butterfly, native to Australasia.
Just beautiful…but I think that would have tickled, don’t you?
