It’s the weekend and, like me, many people around Australia will be heading for the coast. Just remember to slip on a hat, slop on some sunscreen and slap on a hat – so you don’t end up like the proverbial lobster. This is one of Gold Coast photographer Tommy Campion’s shots from the 1980s, taken for a skin cancer awareness campaign. I love the old transistor radio in this shot, too. Have a good weekend!
You wouldn’t beleive this, but I knew I photographed this in colour. And I just found it in my file. The lobster is red, as is the sun-baking boy. A classic.
